Words for thought

Do you sometimes wonder... Why do things have to happen to people you love? and Why is it that when bad things happen to people you love that make you appreciate them even more?

Today, CF called to say that she got admitted to a specialist. We all got so worried, wondering what was wrong as she didn't mention and she sounded worried and scared, which worried us even more. Suddenly, this daring, courageous woman became this scared and helpless little girl. When I heard the news, I was close to tears but drowned myself into work to not think about it.

Finally, during lunch, we heard she was coming back to the office and we were so glad she seemed fine. Seems she has a growth somewhere and it was so scary as it may be cancerous. Even though it's normal for women to have these kinda growth, it's still scary as there may be a chance that it may be cancerous.

Anyways, she'll be going for a minor surgery on Friday. I pray and hope that everything will be ok. Seems her results will be out by next week and let's just pray that they find nothing.

I'm calming myself that there is nothing. Trying not to think the worse.
